B is for… Blogging

B

Since this is a blogging challenge it is sort of a no-brainer that B would be for blogging right? Any notebook can be used for blogging and there are many different aspects to blogging for which different types of notebooks are perfect. Today I am talking about having a notebook to keep all your drafts and ideas together.

For this purpose I usually use an A5 notebook monthly notebook my current notebook for this purpose is an A5 Clairefontaine notebook. What I love about these notebooks is the high quality and smoothness of the paper (90gsm) – when you make it easy to write the ideas just flow. An A5 is the perfect size because it gives you more room to draft out and sketch out your blog posts. For example, if I am thinking of doing an in-depth blog post it can help me sketch it all out to see how it all fits together.

Even when in front of the computer I like to keep a notebook in front of me so that I can add to my running list of ideas.

Do you use a notebook or your computer when you are planning your blog posts? Share in the comments.

  1. Notebooks are always next to me, tucked into my tote bag when I leave home, and always getting filled and needing replacing. I love notebooks. Come school-supplies sale time, I’m in front of the notebooks picking out one of each color/pattern.
I have all my blog posts listed in a row down the page!

  2. I use a computer – I put up draft blog posts while I’m planning. Mostly because my handwriting gets worse the faster I think, but I type really quickly :). I do carry a notebook with me for ideas that pop into my head when away from home, however. My current notebook is Captain America or Hulk and Thor … there may be a theme ;).
