Exacompta Clairefontaine is the market leader for the following product ranges : printing paper (laser and inkjet), converted articles (exercise books, papers, notepads, correspondence articles, fine arts, and crafts, etc.), personal organization articles (diaries, organisers, calendars), office articles (registers, forms, and reels, etc.) and filing articles (files, folders and sorting articles, etc.).

The Exacompta Clairefontaine group was founded in 1996 from a merger of the following companies :

A fourth division was set up in 1998 around Clairefontaine Rhodia which includes the Office, School, Crafts and Fine Arts activities.

The Exacompta brand itself focuses primarily on office products (rather the notebooks), but I thought it was an interesting Company as it incorporates so many favourites. In the US  – Exaclair, Inc. is the American subsidiary of Exacompta Clairefontaine and is the exclusive U.S. distributor of their products.

So what makes this company and their products so great? The answer is simple – the quality of their paper!
