Address Book

Address Book from Pictura

Address Book

Today is a bit of an odd one. An address book.

Who uses those anymore I hear you ask.

Well, I got it as a gift from my grandparents and thought I would add it to the blogging pile. The cover has a velvety feel (the black lines and magnetic closure are velvety) and personally I find the swirling patterns rather beautiful.

If it was an ordinary notebook I would be using it in a flash, without a second thought. Now I have to come up with a way to use an address book without using it as an address book…

Maybe password and logins? or a LinkedIn backup?

I am trying to find places that sell this pictura style address book! Any suggestions as to where I might find one for purchase? I have seen some with peacock design and one with fruit design but can’t remember where online I saw them?? I have one that is black background with pink flowers that needs replacing. Same style as the picture above, envelope type lap at the top, Purse size. I tried emailing Pictura but no luck! Any hlp will be greatly appreciated. My email is misschina91@yahoo.com

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Carole,

I’ve not seen any of these for a while. Pictura does not appear to be selling these any more (although you may hear differently in response to your email).

The only alternative in a similar style that I can think of off the top of my head that you might want to consider is paperblanks https://www.paperblanks.com/en/catalog/address-books/
      https://www.thepencompany.com/paperblanks/address-book/

If I think of any others I’ll let you know.
