Last year I got the 2023 Appointed x Papersmiths Year Task Planner and the Appointed, 2023 Weekly Task Planner in Dove Grey. As you may know I didn’t particularly get on with this Weekly Task Planner when I first started using it and I ended up buying another Appointed x Papersmiths Year Task Planner for 2023, I perserved for a while longer on a more limited basis for one of my other blogs.
This year I decided to try an alternative: the 2024 Compact Task Planner in Lavender Grey (also available in mineral green and charcoal grey). It is basically a smaller size of their Year Task Planner. The Compact Task Planner is designed with extra notes pages for the ideal notebook-planner hybrid and I’ll be giving this a go this year instead of the Notem Alva Annual Journal (although if you need a lot of notebook pages the Notem Alva has more so it better for this).
The planner starts with a two-page overview of 2024 and 2025. Then it has monthly and weekly layouts. Each month begins with monthly goals, important dates and a month calendar and then there are weekly pages with week view on one side and Priorities, tasks and notes on the other. The spiral wire-o binding results in a perfect 180 degree flat lay – and you can even turn it back on itself to 360 degrees – making it a perfect planner. The compact version is of course perfect for on the go planning and easily fits in your bag.
The planner is dated and runs from January 2024 – December 2024. While it doesn’t have laminated tabs for navigation like the year task planner, there is coloured tabs printed on the pages to guide you.
