D is for… Dapper Notes

AtoZ2019D

Dapper Notes Pocket Notebooks are handmade limited edition notebooks created by Enon. I have received a number of these over the past year as part of my Bookhead Club Subscription.

My latest Dapper Notes Notebook (and final notebook of my subscription) is Analects (#19) (pictured above). I received number 20 of a limited edition run of 220 notebooks.

Edition Notes:

The Analects, meaning “edited conversations,” are the collective writings of what is believed to have been Confucius’ teachings. This edition — perhaps the most luxurious Dapper Notes yet — holds a screen printed endsheet with Old Chinese text from said Analects, a daily reminder of the golden rule.

This edition contains a super tactile brown pleather weave on the outside, ink black inside, with a screen printed Analects endsheet.

  • 3.5 x 5.5 inches
  • 48 pages
  • Half dot grid (although available as dot grid, half in half or lined)
  • 70lb smooth white
  • sewn binding (brown thread).

Bookhead Club

The Bookhead Club is a subscription club for Dapper Notebooks. As the notebooks are limited edition they sell out pretty quickly – if you want to get your own I would recommend that you join the bookhead club. This is an annual subscription – and you get 6 notebooks during the course of the year. Find out more directly on their website. If you are in the UK you can also get a subscription via Nero’s Notes.

My Dapper Notebooks

During my Bookhead club subscription I have received 6 dapper notes notebooks: Hey Mood, Sugar Shack, Coral, Hologram, A New Page and Analects. I also previously got one of the Mornings In Notebooks which kicked the whole thing off. My favourite is still Hey Mood – as it is such a beautiful floral cover.

The thing I love about Dapper Notes Notebooks is that they are handmade. What do you enjoy making? Share in the comments.

Thank you for joining us during the A to Z Challenge. Our theme this month is an A to Z of pocket notebooks and we encourage you to follow us on twitter and/or Instagram for more stationery inspired blog posts.
