EDC: Field Notes (Northerly)

This month as my everyday carry (edc) pocket notebook of the month I am using the Field Notes Northerly Edition (you can find the full list of notebooks here).

This is the 13th Quarterly Edition from Field Notes and was released in Winter 2011. is called the Northerly edition, and as always, we’re trying a few new ideas. It has a beautiful glossy cover and according to the Field Notes website, it was their first ever coated cover. The cover is cast-coated, snow-white Mohawk/Smart Kromekote, milled and finished in Cohoes, New York. The covers feature “Icy Silver” type with an embossed Field Notes logo.

However, what I love even more about this notebook are the pages. They have white graph lines on a light blue-grey background. It gives it a different feel to regular pocket notebooks.
