G is for… Germany

G2020

Welcome to our A to Z Challenge for 2020. Thank you for joining us for another celebration of notebooks. We are looking at notebooks and stationery from around the world this year.

Leuchtturm 1917

Today I chose to showcase and celebrate a classic. Leuchtturm 1917 is probably the most popular everyday notebook to come out of Germany. Founded in 1917, Leuchtturm can look back on over 90 years of experience in the production of high-quality stationery.

Some of my favourite Leuchtturm 1917 products have included the official Bullet Journal, and the JottBook which is the perfect everyday notebook.

Other current favourites include the red dots special edition notebook; Change Journal and the muted colours collection (which make a interesting change from the usual bright and vibrant colours associated with Leuchtturm).

Other German Notebooks:

Have you used any of these notebooks? Do you know any others? Share in the comments.

Thank you for joining us during the A to Z Challenge. Our theme this month is an A to Z of Stationery from Around the World and we encourage you to follow us on twitter and//or Instagram for more stationery inspired blog posts.

  1. I am from Germany. I am embarrassed to say that I only know of Bindewerk. I never paid much attention to notebooks, but I also emigrated a long time ago.

    1. Sometimes you find that brands have a stronger brand in other countries rather than in their own. Other than Leuchtturm 1917 I wasn’t aware of any before I did this challenge.
