Kickstarter Find: Ingenious Ink Stationery – Scheduling Boxset

IMG 5131Ingenious Ink: The Boxsets

Ingenious Ink Stationery is a range of A6 to-do notepads to help you work out what to focus on, how to organise your day, have productive meetings, and come up with new ideas. As part of their Kickstarter Campaign, Ingenious Ink released three notepad boxsets: Scheduling Boxset, Taskmaster Boxset, and Good Habits Boxset.

I bought two. The Scheduling Boxset and the TaskMaster Boxset.

Scheduling boxset

This box set helps you schedule and plan your day.

The notepads in the Scheduling boxset are:

  • Walk
  • Run
  • Week Overview
  • PaperThink
  • Zeno’s scheduler

The walk planner is a simple day planner that helps you schedule your time in two-hour blocks. Nice straightforward planner if you just want to plan out your day in time-blocks.

IMG 5141Run – Day Planner

The run planner is for days where you need to get lots done, but in order to do it effectively, you also need to remember to take breaks. Schedule what you’re going to do during each 5-10 minute break as well as the flow of the “what needs to be done” in the day. If you just need to work through a list and not worry too much about the schedule of events – this is a great alternative to the walk day planner.

The Week View Planner gives you a colour coded overview of the week. The notepad organises your days into named parts of the day, morning, early, late, afternoon .etc. This makes it easier to plan out the week.

The Paper think notepad is your priority list – use it to write out and break down your priorities for the day. If you can write yourself a daily priority list every night before you go to sleep so that you know what you need to do the next day.

As explained by Ingenious Ink in the morning you’re fresh and have the most energy for tackling complex tasks. As the day goes on you start to tire our, get bored easily, and procrastinate. So it makes sense to get the tasks that require a long period of sustained concentration out of the way first, and then schedule tasks that get shorter and shorter as the day progresses. I like the concept of this scheduler however, I have not got round to using this one yet.

You can find out more about the notepads and buy them directly from Ingenious Ink Stationery.
