Obvious State is a creative studio, their artwork and goods are inspired by beautiful language that has stood the test of time, poetry that stretches the imagination, and philosophy that prompts us to think deeply. I recently backed their Kickstarter Campaign (A Year of Notebooks). I bought the complete set of 52 notebooks available as part of this campaign (as I simply couldn’t choose which set to go for).
Obvious State takes snippets of text from literature, philosophy, and poetry as inspiration for a visual response and illustration. This makes for some stunning notebook covers on these pocket notebooks. The notebooks are made in partnership with Scout Books.
