Yes or no?
I complained last year when my mother “defaced” my Filofax by sticking a big apple sticker on the front of it (to match the iPad). 8 months later I have gotten used to it and couldn’t be without that “little bit of personalisation” on my Filofax.
My new Malden however – is NOT for customisation. I wouldn’t dream about defacing such a beautiful product (not that my metropol is not beautiful in its own right).
Do you customise your cover? Or just the interior?
Oh, I’d never customise the actual filofax, only its content; firstly, I don’t have much in the way of craft-talent, and secondly I’d be terrified that my customisations would be merely the result of a ‘phase’ and the whole thing might be outdated if I lost love with the customisation. I think my family would be too terrified to even touch .my. filos let alone put a sticker on them lol At least your mother placed that sticker well…any sticker I place is pre-destined to be crooked.
Thankfully my mother is “arty” but I nearly had heart failure when she first did it.
I think your Metropol looks cute! I stuck a pen holder on to my Malden, but otherwise I’ve left it alone 🙂

I’m with Whispering Rabbit! I’ll customize the inside but never the actual binder. And my family is too terrified to even touch my binder!
