Green Pebble is not just great for greeting cards, they also sell notebooks, journals, notepads and other stationery items all featuring the beautiful work of some of the UK’s best contemporary artists. They have recently introduced a new notebook range. As a thank you, I recently received a couple of their notebooks to try out.
I was delighted to receive two high quality and professional-looking notebooks. As well as the stunning artwork, they have a sturdy high-quality feel. The coordination of the cloth spine, elasticated closure and the ribbon marker, also made it feel well put together.
Another, great thing about Green Pebble notebooks is that they publish different artists and the two notebooks I received each featured a different artist.
Mr Fox (Design by printmaker Gerard Hobson)
The first notebook “Mr Fox” is designed by printmaker Gerald Hobson, who is also a qualified Zoologist. His work features birds and animals like this “Mr Fox” notebook which has a range of animals on a bright orange background which really makes it stand out. As I love foxes I am always delighted to get another fox-featuring notebook to add to the collection. If you like the design it is also available as gift wrapping.
The Game Is Afoot (design by printmaker Sarah Bays)
The second notebook is designed by Sarah Bays, a printmaker living in Norwich who takes inspiration in her surroundings. The Game is Afoot is a more muted design, but again the artwork is great and actually for me has a good balance of fun and professionalism when means it is perfect for work.
These large lined notebooks are perfect desk notebooks for at home or in the office. As I have two, I am planning to use one at home as a general planning notebook and one in work for meetings.
