I really enjoyed using the Notem Weekly Planner the last couple of years. So I decided to get another one for 2022. By way of reminder I got the Notem Studio 2022 Annual Journal (weekly layout) A5 in Dark Blue. It has flat lay binding and contains both a monthly overview and a weekly overview with vertical columns. So how has it been going? Well not well! I have discovered another issue with hybrid working – I never have the notebooks and/or diaries that I need.
I am using this planner as my professional diary for my voluntary roles. The problem is that with hybrid working (and moving house) I often didn’t have this notebook to hand when I needed, so while the journal pages are great for keeping meeting notes from committee meetings, events and calls related to my voluntary roles so that everything is all in one handy place – it is not happening. Instead I am writing things down in random notebooks, journals and scraps of paper etc. .While I do sometimes copy across the information I need into the Notem Journal – it is not the most efficient use of my time.
That said – this is the perfect notebook/diary/journal for this task, so I just need to get myself more organised – although I am still not sure what to do about being back in the office and having to carry everything to and from work which means that I am trying to limit the number of notebooks and diaries that I need to use on the go – and this is a chunky journal.
